Q - question

DWG open or Zoom All causes an INTERNAL ERROR: !dbutil.cpp@705

A - answer or !dbutil.cpp@807

Your current DWG drawing is corrupted. It may be caused by a technical hardware/communication error, by a faulty add-on application, or (most probably) your DWG file was created in a non-Autodesk software and has an improper internal structure (format).

Forged DWG files saved from Microstation, ArchiCAD, SolidWorks, ZwCAD, TurboCAD, ProgeCAD, SolidEdge 2D etc. can cause similar problems when processed later in AutoCAD. Typical problems occur in layer operations, zoom, layout functions, 3D and during printing/plotting/publishing.
