Q - question

What is the FOV of an AutoCAD camera?

A - answer A camera inserted into an AutoCAD scene with the CAMERA command has a default focal length of 50mm. This corresponds (with a 35mm camera) to a default focal view angle of 39.6 degrees.

The horizontal angle of the displayed camera cone in AutoCAD is about 38.5 degrees. The displayed focal view property (the Properties palette) of the default camera is 40.

The easiest way of modifying the focal view is using the arrow grips on the camera cone (red).
