If you have your AutoCAD or Inventor dialogs overflowing outside the screen, or the application icon (red "A", yellow "I", purple "R") is suddenly too small (with larger, inadequate ratio to the ribbon), it is probably caused by changed display settings (dpi) in Windows.

Start the Windows Control panels and check the setting Display (Appearance and Personalization > Adjust screen resolution), custom text size (dpi) - it should stay on 100% ("Smaller", the default), not 125% ("Medium") or 150% ("Larger") for the UI elements displayed properly.
