Q - question

How to save Civil 3D objects to an older version?

A - answer If you need to convert a digital terrain model or other special object from AutoCAD Civil3D to an older version of the program, you have to use a data exchange format - the best choice is the XML format LandXML.

In the current version of Civil3D issue the LandXMLout command (ribbon Output > Export > Export to LandXML). During the export, choose such LandXML version (1.2, 1.1, 1.0), which is supported also in the older (target) version of the CAD application.

In the target version of Civil 3D, start the LandXMLin command.
