An empty application window in Design Review.

After launching Autodesk Design Review 2008, only an empty window is displayed with the menus File, Tools and Help - all other menus and toolbars are missing.

This problem can be caused by a wrong installation of Design Review, by missing Windows update components, or by too high security settings in your Internet Explorer.

First try to update Windows (e.g. using Windows Update). Next try to lower your security settings in MSIE - for the Local intranet zone set Middle low security. If these steps won't help, reinstall Design Review, or apply the Service Pack for Design Review 2008.
