How to map properties from an imported STEP file to Inventor?

With the new tool "Property Mapping for Imported CAD Data" (available since Inventor 2017 R2) you can easily map properties from CAD files imported from CATIA, Pro/Engineer, Creo Parametric, STEP, NX and SolidWorks to standard Inventor iProperties.

The "Property Mapping for Imported CAD Data" tool can be invoked by:

The Property Mapping button at the bottom of the Import dialog box. This button is only enabled if you are importing a CATIA, Creo, NX, STEP, or Solidworks file into an assembly file.
By going to Start menu > Programs > Autodesk > Inventor 2017 > Tools.
