How to override weight of an assembly component in Fusion 360?

A - answer How can I force-overwrite the mass of a purchased assembly part so that the total mass of the assembly corresponds to reality?

You cannot override physical properties of a component in Fusion as in Inventor iProperties. However, you can help yourself with a simple trick - assigning an auxiliary material with the desired density.

From a known volume and a preset fixed mass, calculate the density and assign it to a copied material used for the part, component, or subassembly.
