Topic: Need CAD and will pay (easy designs) Posted: 06.Oct.2015 at 19:20 |
Ok I started with a new company and they use CAD 2005. I need very easy drawings done. Just need the house and make sure it matches with the plot/plat plan. So here's my offer. I have money sitting on the table and need these drawn really bad. I'm learning the CAD program, the dinosaur CAD program but if I can find someone that's willing to knock these out for me I'll pay! We have tons of work. I can pay when I sell one of the jobs. So someone make me an offer! FYI... I'm honest. Yes we're still out here and will pay when the jobs are sold. So if I'm making money, so are you!
Thoughts?

I just got a similar job from one of my coworkers. He needs to have his existing house and proposed deck shown on his plot plan.
So you have the plot plan. And you have what for the house? Field sketches?
Need more detail about what you have and what would be required to be shown on the drawings.
Where in the U.S. are you located?
The "I can pay when I sell one of the jobs" sentence is a bit worrisome. I got burned bad by a lawyer no less who had a small, eight house, subdivision that I drew up for him. He never paid me a dime after his $1800 check bounced.

Yeah I understand the concern. The company I work for builds pools. I don't need to design the pool. I go out and measure the yard and elevations. Then I put the measurements on the plot plan. I also have to verify the plot measurements. I'm looking for a way to be productive. PM me and I can send you more info.

I asked....where are you located. And the answer is...?
I'm not sure there is a way to PM you and like me you have elected to keep your email private.
When would you reasonably expect to be on this site during the day? Mornings? Afternoons? Evenings?
I'm usually on quite early in the day then not again until noon followed by 5:30 p.m. east coast time.

Where did you go? A sample plot plan I did over the summer for a deck.

Hey John,
That's pretty much what I need. I've been on CAD. I was just thinking outside of the box. I'm back in the box now with the jazz rollin and CAD going. Just super busy and thought I could find someone to knock these out. Texas here.

I'd be very interested in speaking iwth you about this. My background is surveying, so I cut my teeth in cad doing existing site surveys, mortgage plats, plot plans, and the like. I'm now a senior designer and Cad manager for a Civil/Structural/Architectural/Survey firm in New York. I know what you need, and have plenty of time to do it. Since I have a stable (very) job, the payment time isn't of a huge importance - although I do enjoy getting paid. I understand the workings, and how delays occur. Not too big a deal. If you like, let's talk.

Well that makes two of us. I spent eleven years doing surveying and drafting for a municipality. I've branched out into many disciplines since then.

Don't keep us in suspense. Do you need some help or not?
