Q - question

Output in the text window scrolls away - how can I get it?

A - answer In AutoCAD R14 you were able to set the number of lines stored in memory using Options.

In version 2000 (and above) this "history" setting is fixed to 400 lines - so in the text window (F2) you can go back 400 lines of scrolled text.

Since version 2006 you can control the history size (1-255) with the CMDINPUTHISTORYMAX variable.

If you want to keep longer text outputs, use the LOGFILEON and LOGFILEOFF commands to log text outputs to a .LOG file.
