Q - question

Rough display of round objects (e.g. pipes) in Navisworks.

A - answer When you load a 3D DWG file in Autodesk Navisworks and this DWG contains round (circular) objects like pipes or cylinders, these objects may appear facetted, not properly smoothed.

This is controlled by the setting "Faceting Factor" available in Navisworks options. Go to N > Options > File Readers > DWG/DXF and increase the "Faceting Factor" value from the default "1" to e.g. "10". Higher values give better and smoother display but increase the workload on your workstation.
