Topic: Inventor Publisher Technology Preview: Tool for Providing Graphics DiaPosted: 13.Jan.2010 at 05:00 |

A graphics display problem can be a real monster. Most of the time things go well. But every once in a while one of our early adopters has a problem using one of our technology previews. Such is the case with the Inventor Publisher Technology Preview. If you encounter a display problem, Programmer/Software Engineer, Steven Velez, has a set of steps that will provide better information about errors related to the display of Inventor Publisher. Please follow the instructions below: Download AdskDiagOutput.zip (71.3K) to a known location on your system using your browser of choice.
Extract the contents by double-clicking on the file in explorer and dragging all files to the same directory. Alternatively you can use the "Extract All..." context menu item or your zip program of choice.
Double click Report.bat.
Attach the resulting AdskDiagOutputReport.txt file to a discussion group post or email message describing your problem. Thanks to Software Engineer, Norbert Jeske, who developed the small, self-contained, command-line utility that makes this trick possible. By all means contact us at labs.iv.publisher@autodesk.com with any feedback you have -Â praises for what it offers, suggestions for improvements, or reports of difficulties. Helping users help us is alive in the lab. It's alive, it's alive, it's alive.
