The Project Butterfly team has been at it again. They have posted another update. As indicated on the updates page, they do this quite frequently.

Butterfly_updates

Senior Software Development Manager, Tal Weiss, let me know that this release has updates so you can:

  • draw or modify DWG files that contain complex line types.

  • grant users you collaborate with rad-only permission so they can add markups but not alter the underlying DWG file.

  • create more accurate leaders by taking advantage of the new leader styles.

  • change your displayed name and/or password by using the new edit account capability.

  • drag and drop DWG files between folders more easily thanks to Drawings section improvements.

Recall that one of the beauties of a software as a service offering is that when the team updates the servers, you get the new functionality. Just like that. No download. No install. No nothing. Go ahead. Try it.

Though I try to keep up, you can always get the very latest information from the Project Butterfly blog. We certainly welcome your feedback at labs.butterfly@autodesk.com or the discussion forum.

Keeping the butterfly in flight is alive in the lab.
