Because both the Labs process and the Beta process rely on feedback, we are moving the Autodesk Labs site to the Autodesk Feedback Community rather continue to maintain a separate web site. This will provide a consistent experience for users who evaluate technology previews as well as test our beta products.

If you have an existing user name and password that you have used for the Autodesk Labs site, you can continue to use that for the Autodesk Feedback Community. The same is true for other Autodesk communities like the Manufacturing Community or Student Community. The fact that all of the Autodesk sites allow you to share one user name and password is why we refer to this as Autodesk Single Sign-on; however, if you do not have an Autodesk Single Sign-on, here is how you get started from scratch.

  1. Navigate your browser to http://beta.autodesk.com. Click on Create Account.

  2. Fill in the information and click on Create an Account.

  3. Click on Sign In.

  4. Supply the user name and password created in step 2. Click on Sign In.

  5. Verify your information, select your time zone, and click Submit.

  6. Indicate that you wish to test and provide feedback on technology previews for Autodesk Labs. Click Submit.

  7. Select Autodesk Labs from the home page.

  8. Click on Help Shape The Future of Our Technology.

  9. Once a part of the Autodesk Labs community, you can use the links on the left to join any of the technology previews that you wish to help shape.

This is something you do once and then you are all set. Thank you for your continued support of Autodesk Labs in this new environment.

Feedback is alive in the lab.
