Hi all, I'm new in this forum
![]() I need to import a GERBER file (a PCB drawing) into a CAD (I normally use Freecad ad home and Solidworks at work, but I could use Autocad too). I'd like to import it as a 2D sketch to be extruded later (eg.: 1mm., just to say) I tried different file formats but very often I obtained just splines, without the related tracks, vias and filled areas. I need to import a full design of PCBs, with the original drawing perfectly reproduced. I tried with GERBER, PDF and DXF formats (as output of Kicad) but I was never able to obtain good results. Maybe I'm not following the correct procedure Has anyone already tried to do this? thanks Regards Roberto |
