Hi,

I have created a schematic of a standard 8 way PLC block going to terminals. The terminals are shown in schematic view i.e a circle. When i select the terminal panel list to show all eight terminals and there associated attributes the "term" attribute is very small and not in the place i would like it. I know i can edit the attribute to move and change the size but would like to avoid that.

The terminal that is shown in the panel footprint is one that i have drawn as a block myself, the block itself does not show the "term" attribute, this is brought in to the block when generating the panel footprint from the schematic. In other words, i have a schematic terminal labelled "01" this attribute is then shown on my terminal panel footprint put very small and always in the top left hand corner of my panel terminal.

Any ideas???

Adrian.

You want to avoid what appears to be the most obviously solution.  That doesn't make much sense.

Hi John,

What i was hoping to do was to setup the attribute so that every time it converts the terminal schematic symbol it places the attribute i.e the terminal number, in the correct place and the correct size. Rather than having to edit every single terminal attribute every time it converts the terminal.

Hi John,
I have managed to resolve the problem, if i go in to schematics/other tools/modify symbol library i can change the size of all the attributes in the library i am using, once i have selected the size autocad goes off and changes all the blocks (very useful tool).
