The process of repairing holes in a 3D model generated from a series of photographs in Autodesk ReCap Photo (part of ReCap Pro and AEC Collection) is illustrated in the following video from the CAD Studio's YouTube channel.

Holes and other imperfections in a 3D models are usually caused by inadequate overlapping of individual photo views from different directions - the algorithm then cannot recreate the resulting object shape in a given location.

ReCap Photo offers a series of tools for repairing and cleaning the scanned 3D model of existing conditions, before it is exported to your CAD or BIM software.
