When working in the CAD/CAM application Autodesk Fusion 360, keep in mind - even more than in other parametric 3D modelers: always keep as simple sketches as possible and model any geometric features later in 3D!

Efficiency and resulting performance of the model can be strongly dependent on a correct modeling procedure - and the more complex the final design, the more apparent will any erroneous procedures become.
