Q - question

How to create a complex line type with text always upside down?

A - answer If you want to create a complex line type (.LIN) definition with a text that will always be displayed upside down in AutoCAD, regardless of the line orientation, use the U ("upright") code in the linetype specification, with the 180.0 parameter.

Example:

A,2,-1,["GRE-U1",STANDARD,S=1,U=180.0,X=-0.5,Y=-.25],-1
*GRE-UA,Overhead ----GRE----GRE----GRE----
A,2,-1,["GRE-UA",STANDARD,S=1,U=0.0,A=180.0,X=-0.5,Y=-.25],-1
*GRE-U1,Overhead ----GRE----GRE----GRE----
