Q - question

Hatches in AutoCAD 2015 (and higher) do not display linetypes.

A - answer In my drawings, I have used hatches showing linetypes (dashed, complex). AutoCAD 2015 now displays these hatches only as plain continuous lines.

The AutoCAD version 2015 (and higher) offers a new system variable HPLINETYPE which controls displaying linetypes in hatch objects. Linetypes in hatches are off by default to preserve performance. If you want to show linetypes in hatches, set the HPLINETYPE variable to 1.
