Q - question

How to distinguish open tabs in Revit by project?

A - answer I have two projects opened in Autodesk Revit and in both of them there are views and drawings named e.g. "1st floor plan", "Legend", etc. How can I tell which project they belong to, from their view tabs?

This is difficult to solve with standard Revit tools. However, the "Color Tabs" extension from ARKANCE can help - it automatically colors open view tabs, drawings and families according to their project or family affiliation.

Another option of this application is to close the whole project - with multiple open views - with a single button click. The user doesn't need to select and close all the project views individually.

See Colorize Revit® tabs with the new Color Tabs plugin.
