Dear Folks
I am doing a research about data exchange using STEP/IGES in order to have an update understating of the current capabilities.
I have created a simple component model using Solid Edge version ST6 then converted into IGES vr 5.3 formats which was imported by CATIA IGES 5.2. I have observed the following:-
1. The solid representation of the sample is represented in surfaces model
2. The geometric model in CATIA cannot be edited.
Would anyone could help to tell me why the above is happening? and any method is available for editing?
