   I'm not an expert in the PC "box" however, as tulip3d noted, you do need more RAM.
Do yourself a favor, get "lots" of memory, as much as you can afford.

	Thanks you both! I just fixed the problem by disabling Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering in my video settings. It's a workable environment now, although there's a lot of jaggies on the pieces... The 8500GT does use shared memory (turbo-caché I think it's called). I'm guessing it's more RAM then... thanks!

	Ram is inexpensive nowadays. Pack as much in as possible. Does your video card have onboard ram? Let's hope. If not, the video card shares memory with the rest of the system. 	Well, im not a specialist or claim to know a whole lot bout computers....but i do know that for inventor 2010 you need at least 4GB of RAM for that program alone, not including windows, autocad and everything else. DEFINETLY get more RAM.

	Good day, all. I'm new to the forum. I'm looking for some help please. I just recently started working and learning several CAD programs for engineering purposes. However, I'm not able to run them properly on my desktop with Windows XP SP2 (see my Signature for my specs). The problem is, as you can see in the pictures, everytime I move the pointer over a line or part of a CAD drawing (2D and 3D), or when I put the pointer on any menu of the program, my screen goes crazy, as if it were broken! This happens with every single CAD program I use: - AutoCAD 2010 - PTC ProEngineer 4 - SolidWorks 2008 - CATIA V5 The way it loads: The problem: Does anyone know what could be the problem? RAM? Video? The videocard is 1 year old, and it's controlled by nHancer. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!
