The Rhino Import Translator Add-in for Autodesk Inventor allows you to import solids, surfaces, wires, and points for modeling in Inventor with no need for file conversion. You can design with vendor or customer data by easily importing their Rhino files (.3dm). This technology preview has been updated to support Autodesk Inventor 2011.

Please try it and let us know what you think. Did your file translate well? Is this a necessary feature you would like to see in Autodesk Inventor? How often and how many Rhino files do you work with? Inquiring minds want to know. Please share your thoughts with us at labs.iv.rhino@autodesk.com.
