Last week while speaking at the American Design Drafting conference in Louisville Kentucky I received the request for a new version of the simple MDITabs Bonus Tool. The free AutoCAD 2010 version works on AutoCAD 2011 as well there are version back to AutoCAD 2007 available for download.

AutoCAD Free Bonus Tool Drawing Tabs "MDITabs"

The MDITabs Bonus Tool provides a simple tab for open drawings at the top of the AutoCAD drawing window and also includes some simple right-click options such as New, Save, Save As, Save All, Close, Close All, Close All Except this Doc, Copy Full Path, and open containing folder.

It is important to note that with AutoCAD 2011 we also supported the Microsoft Windows 7 feature when you roll over the application icon in the taskbar you see a preview of all open drawings/documents. It is similar to the AutoCAD feature QuickView Drawing (command QVDRAWING) but now in the Windows 7 Operating System.
