How good does pdf2cad work? What makes it better than any other conversion program?

there are really no good programs that will accurately convert from pdf to cad. We use Boston Computer scanning which will take any drawing, paper, pdf, or any old and battered plan and convert to cad in great condition. They may use overseas labor, but we have never had a problem and the quality is outstanding. Turnaround if exceptional and prices are fair.

In Adobe PDF you can convert a PDF to various different formats
I convert PDFs to JPGs and then either import the JPG into the drawing and trace over it or use a conversion program like Wintopo Freeware which will convert to DXF
A Google search will find Wintopo and it is free (I have no connection to this company and only give it as an example) there are a lot of other conversion programs

I also have been using Aidecad's converter and it work pretty good, text does not convert to text it is just line work, so i always go back and retype the text, and it usally breaks a single 8.5x11 pdf into two to three dxf files, but it still saves alot of time and i don't have to redraw from scratch.

For about the past 4 years I've been using Aidecad's pdf to dxf converter. works pretty good and you get 20 free converts. the full version does convert better though.

The program does NOT convert a PDF file to a DWG "perfectly". As a matter of fact it leaves much to be desired. Sounds more like a blatant attempt to steer people towards the website. Along with the program maybe users get some free malware too?

There are various of application that helps you converts PDF to DWG, I tried some of them and found the AutoDWG PDF to DWG converter works wonderful, it converts may drawing perfectly, almost retain all entities as original AutoCAD drawing, and yes it is totally editable.
