Not every Wednesday is “Announcement Wednesday”, but I’ve got 3 stacked up today, so I figured it deserved a special title. #1: Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD LT 2012 now available The development team recently released a service pack for AutoCAD LT 2012. Download it here (as always, read the README, and make sure you get the 32-bit or 64-bit version as appropriate). The service pack includes a wide variety of fixes and updates, namely ARRAYCLASSIC, for those of you who miss the dialog, and SNAPGRIDLEGACY, for those of you who miss having snap active even when a command is not. #2: See the Suite Advantage Virtual Event today The AEC team is hosting a virtual event today beginning at 11:00 Eastern / 8:00 Pacific. Register here – it’s not too late! The primary focus is the Building Design Suite, which includes products like AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, and Sketchbook Designer (among others), but there will also be a couple AutoCAD webcasts from Lynn Allen and me, and members of the AutoCAD team (again including me) will be in the virtual booth in the Exhibit Hall if you want to chat with us. #3: General Registration for AU 2011 now open Anyone and everyone is now able to register for AU 2011 in Las Vegas. Sign up by October 11 and save $500 off the regular price – but if you’re going, I wouldn’t wait that long because the most popular classes tend to fill up quickly (especially the labs).
