If you use custom color palettes or colorbooks with AutoCAD you can now use the new web based AutoCAD Colorbook Editor also known as the "ACB Editor." The original web based Colorbook Editor app was released ten years ago with the support of true color in AutoCAD. Paint manufactures such as Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams and Dunn Edwards have also used the ACB files of their color palettes their customers using AutoCAD could download. Once you have added these custom color palettes to your colorbook path in the AutoCAD support paths, you can then select colors from these colorbooks using the AutoCAD color picker and include the color names in bill of material tables or specifications. You could also create your own custom color palettes as ACB files and share with others.
