I have a autocad drawing with points these points are linked to a excell file in that excell file is a button when you click the button it starts a macro that then opens an access file and the form i want, but don't know how to get it to open the specific record.  the record aka "point id" would be the same as the the point name in my autocad drawing.  I may have to apply this macro to each individual point in my drawing.  I just need that macro to perform a search on a specific column in the access table and for it to recognise the Point name in the autocad drawing and search the access table for that "point Id"
