Is this a legit version of FactoryCAD? Have you tried contacting tech support at FactoryCAD?
Did you create a Restore point prior to loading FactoryCAD?

Glad to hear you got it sorted out no thanks to the people at Siemens. When they ask what the solution is tell them you'll have to charge them for customer support. LOL

All of the uninstalls and reinstalls... I have deleted the directory from Program Files everytime.. Never crossed my mind once to look in Common Files for another directory.. You live and you learn..

Sorry for the late reply, I did but they were no help.. I resolved the issue.. There is a folder C:\Program Files\Common files\Siemens PLM Software Shared\PlantLayout that hosts .DLL's simply delete the directory and reinstall Factory CAD.. It only took me about a month to find it... Siemens are yet to return my call regarding this issue.. Last I heard two weeks ago was there was a meeting scheduled with the Developers regarding my issue... I emailed and have gotten no response over the last few weeks.. I just resolved this issue this morning lol.. I thought about not sharing the fix with them, when/if ever they do call me back.. But I don't want anyone else to be stuck as we have been..

Well that's one thing you don't have to worry about then.
Have you tried contacting someone at Siemens or the company you bought Factory Cad through (like a local reseller)?

Thanks alot, very much appreciated.. Yeah I am sure, during the install of FactoryCAD it asks specifically which version of AutoCAD do you have installed.. 14 only lists 2009 and 2010.. Which are the only versions it's compatible with...

Nothing like helping the people who purchase your product right? Might explain why there are so many AutoCAD related help sites/forums.
Something tells me your problem may be related to the ARX file but I can't put my finger on it at the moment. Sorry. I'll do a little searching around to see if I can come up with something.
Are you sure the two programs are compatible version-wise?
