Looking some assistance



If i have all the dimensions of an item (plan,Elevation,End Elevations)

for sayings sake a ps3

whats the easist way of generating this in 3D

PS3 is PostScript file. I'm afraid you need to do again in some program for 3D (AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Revit, Invenor - It depends on content of PS3 file). Sorry for bad news.

Ha... I believe you're talking about a Playstation 3, not the program script, right?
 
The basics of modeling anything in 3D is starting off with polylines and extruding them; so take the outmost dimensions and create a rectangular prism by extruding a polyline rectangle.  You then can create shapes to "cut out" like you were carving a sculpture.  You would create your "cut" and then use the subtract tool to cut that shape out of your original 3D prism.
