I am having trouble with my Xref not showing up on my drawing, i have attached it, made sure that the layers were off.

Off? If you mean "On", there could be also other reasons for not showing the Xref contents: attached to a wrong place (off screen), using invisible plot styles, special entities (proxy), etc.

what is in your xref? if it has a nested xref inside of it you might need to bind it...
