Post a drawing file so we have some idea of what you are dealing with.

You're trying to create solid walls via subtraction?  Why don't you just draw the 2D plan view of the wall(s) and either extrude to the proper height or use the press/pull command to give them height?

I have a building with one slanted wall.  How do I get a 3D solid wall around the structure?  Also I have numberous divided walls in the structure.  How do I subtract the solid boxes to produce walls for the 3D image?
