Hi everybody I am new on the forum and I am from Greece so please forgive me for mistakes on English! I was looking around in the forum and found a lot of interesting things that I had never imagined that could be done Smile. Actually I opened a new topic because I want to ask you something! My problem is that I have built a 3D model in AutoCad and I have saved the file on DWG format of course. Now I have to convert this DWG file to STP (Step File). Its really important to me this and I am really desparate! I tried a lot of things like open the file with inventor to save it in another file format, I downloaded plugins for AutoCad, I tried to found convertors but nothing was working!!! Is it possible to do something like that?? I am respectfully looking forward for your kind replies!!!!

Thank you in advance
Friendly Nick

In fact AutoCAD doesn't export step file. And if you have a file I can convert  in step.
Try to export as *.SAT . Maybe it can help.

I have the file right here! So can you convert the file for me? is that possible? If yes do you want me to send you the file with an email?

Thank you in advance!
