Hey there,

First, since it's my first post, I'd like to just say: I'm Arthur, I'm from Hungary, I'm working in the electrical department.

Second, here's my question:

How do I actually make a stair the way I want it to, not the way the program lets me?

Here's the deal:

I want to make a set of stairs that are 900mm wide, the steps are 300mm deep each, have a total of 18 steps and a total elevation of 3100mm. Now the problem is that after the 2nd step the next 3 steps have to turn 90° right in a 900x900mm rectangle and the last 3 steps have to do the same.

(simple paint image made on my home notebook: not to scale)

The base of the 'L' shape are the bottom.

Now my problem is that if I select winders it just tries to have me take an equal length, single 90-degree flight of stairs, which would end in a wall on both ends if I was to put it in (and it's not what I want in the first place)

I've tried drawing the thing in the sketch option, but it kept throwing up error messages, that got me no result, only frustration.

I'd really appreciate it if you could help me ("Help me CADforum, you're my only hope!")
Cheers,

Arthur
