Hello;
Does anyone here know a lot about animations? In Inventor there are two ways to do animations. One in the presentation view with 'tweaks' and the other using the Inventor Studio in assembly view. I understand how to do the former, but what I can't get to work is this. I have a theaded axle and a nut that mates with this. There is a way to have the nut rotate and move along the axis of the threaded stock at the same time (simulating screw motion). I put the question out on another forum, but maybe someone here also knows. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?p=180986#post180986 here is a tutorial on it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhYYZ...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhYYZ...eature=related thanks in advance |

I've play with the screwing motion a littl. In the tweaks you would have to set the distance the nut would go onto the threaded axle. Then set how much you want the nut to rotate. Then group them together and both action will happen at the same time to look as if the nut was screwing on the the threaded axle
