Hello,   I'm a new member today, have virtually no experience of CAD and would like some expert advice please.

I'm in the process of dismantling an old car and I would like to create dimensioned computer drawings of many of the body parts for future reference by me and other interested people.

However, I don't want to spend too long in preparing each drawing.      I've tried drawing by cursor but this is a pain and I think perhaps entering data might be a better option.

There is a bewildering number of CAD software packages out there and I'd like to know which one you would advise me to go for.

Many thanks                     Confused
