Trying to find free blocks to complete my residential architecture/drafting class. Completely new to this so you  will have to keep answers simple please. Need Plumbing,electrical,HVAC and doors/windows.

You can find tons of free blocks here in the "CAD Blocks" section. Just pick the right category or perform a keyword search.

If the blocks you find here are not to your liking might I suggest you visit the websites of some of the manufacturers?  For example, I know that Marvin and Anderson both have 2D and 3D blocks of their windows and doors free for the downloading.  I think American Standard has sinks, tubs, showers and toilet blocks available in 2D.  It's amazing what one can find if they try.

Yes you can find lots of blocks on this site. I just wish they were better organised.
