gday all
I have a block, lets assume its a rectangle for now for ease of explanation. This is my first dynamic block and I have followed advice from the net to add a STRETCH function to it which works well.
I want to now add a text box (MTEXT?) to the block which should be able to be edited once the block is finished. Lets say I use 50 of these blocks in a drawing and each should be a unique length (hence the stretch requirement) and each should have a reference number attached to the block, visible in the drawing.

I have tried inserting some MTEXT to the block, and assigning a POINT parameter with a MOVE action to it (in case the text is clashing with something), but i can't figure out how to make the text EDITABLE once I'm finished with the block!

any help appreciated
