Hey ;)

I'd like to build a motorcycle model and enter the design field of custom parts for the bikes.

Couple things stop me from modelling, though. These are:
- I don't know the dimensions of the frames
- clueless as to dimensioning the engine and parts
- In general, actually, the size dimensions and me, haven't really been introduced.

So few question. For those in the similar trade, do you build the bike model  from scratch and do you account for the dimensions?

And could anybody point me to where to get the rims, tires, suspensions, engine, and other parts' dimensions.

Now, I may be overcomplicating things, because I'm not planing to build a bike, but to build the custom body.

Any tips on the topic are greatly appreciated.

I think there is someone over at the CADTutor website who was doing something similar.  Look for a member called Shift1313.
