    Posted: 31.May.2012 at 13:49
I am absolutely new to Revit as a user and my focus is on operability between different applications. The problem is that I can not se theIFC file that I import to the application. I assume that I should change something in IFC options regarding template or class mappings, but have no idea of what and how.
I tried to do the simplest experiment possible: draw a duct in a new Revit MEP project, exported it as IFC and tried to import it back to the application, but again nothing was visible on the screen. Since I thought maybe the problem is just in viewing parameters, again I extracted the project as IFC and checked it with Solibri. There was nothing there! So I conluded that I need some knowledge for "importing" IFCs to Revit MEP which I did not find on the net.
Any solution?
