The most reliable conversion tool (makes genuine RealDWGs) is the free utility Autodesk TrueView 2008 - see:
 
It can convert DWG files (up to DWG2008) to older formats (down to DWG R14).

Hi.
I have registered only to download some blocks from the Catalog (and to upload some in exchange). But once I am logged in, let me ask a question.

Some blocks you offer are in a format that my AutoCAD (2006) cannot read. What tool do you recommend to convert these newer DWG files to an older format?
