Hey guys, so I'm fairly new with Revit and having some problems with loading families into my project.

I have previously been able to load downloaded families into my projects, but now every time I try to load something it says "some or all of the family files you selected cannot be loaded. You must choose family files of the category Component."

Is there a solution to my problem. I download my families from AutodeskSeek and perhaps I'm choosing the wrong format or something?Confused

Please help and thanks in advance.

You are probably loading a family from a specific command (category). To load any RFA family you want, go to Insert > Load from Library > Load Family

I did try this, but then it doesn't show the family at all, but doesn't show the error message either.
