IS IT POSSIBLE TO CONVERT AN INVENTOR 3D FILE INTO A DXF
OR EVEN A STEP. FILE.
PLEASE...... CAN SOME ONE ANSWER MY QUESTION?

Yes you Can:
But tell us what format is your drawing (ex: *.ipt ) do you want to convert.?
Have you tried save as option in Inventor or Export???

well i want to convert an Inventor ipt. sheet metal part into a dxf. file, i know i can but i would have to get the initial sketch made.

If you want to do so first make a drawing of your model in
2D and then save the file as a .dxf.
However make sure that the drawing is scaled
on 1:1 or you will have distorted output.
Let me know if this works for you.
