Q - question

AutoCAD displays an empty ribbon only.

A - answer If AutoCAD shows only an empty ribbon after start (no panels nor tabs), its XML menu file (CUI) was probably loaded incorrectly.

You can force reloading of the ribbon by switching the AutoCAD workspace. On the command line, type the command WORKSPACE, confirm the setting of the current workspace by ENTER and enter its name ("?" lists the available names) - e.g. "2D Drafting & Annotation" (or just confirm the preset name). The ribbon will be then reloaded from the CUI, resp. CUIX file.
