Q - question

Free viewer for Autodesk Inventor files.

A - answer Your Autodesk Inventor installation media (CD,DVD,USB) contains a free viewer for parts, assemblies and drawings - i.e. Inventor's IPT, IAM, IDW and DWG files - "Autodesk Inventor View". It is intended for those users who have not installed the full Inventor software application.

See Installation > Autodesk Inventor View.

The free application "Autodesk Inventor View" can be also downloaded from Download.

We recommend to use a more effective publishing format DWF/DWFx to publish and view Inventor 3D models - see related tips.
