Q - question

How do I uninstall hotfixes, updates and apps that cannot be uninstalled via Control Panel?

A - answer An interrupted installation, a missin reboot, or other disruption of the installation mechanism may leave Windows CAD applications or updates that cannot be uninstalled in the standard way and also cannot be reinstalled (the installation reports that they are already installed).

In these cases, a manual uninstall is usually necessary (if possible), or in the case of Autodesk applications (2022 and above), you can run an "unconditional" uninstaller for that application or update (e.g. hotfix).

These uninstaller tools can be found in the subfolders of the folder C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Uninstallers\ - e.g. C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Uninstallers\Civil3D2024.3Update or C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Uninstallers\Autodesk Revit 2024.1.1 Update. In such folders, you will always find the program AdskUninstallHelper.exe, after which launch the CAD program or update (all its components) will be uninstalled. The uninstallation takes place in a text window, with information about the ongoing steps.

Uninstalling (by any method) does not remove the uninstaller itself.

This procedure replaces the older "Autodesk Uninstall Tool". Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
