How to add/override {} in dimension text or style?

AutoCAD considers "{" and "}" characters as control codes in dimensions. To add these characters to your dimension texts (either in the individual dimension override or in the dimension style), you will need to escape them using "\" -- e.g.:

 
\{comment\}
<> \{approx.\}
