Autodesk Memento can a.o. fix and repair textured mesh models, including very large models (order of 100 mil. polygons) from laser scanning and image-based modeling. Memento supports a number of file formats (.RCM, .OBJ, .STL, .PLY). It can help you prepare watertight mesh models, e.g. for 3D printing.

Main editing functions:

  • Cleaning up noise or busy surrounding
  • Mesh analysis/diagnostics for finding and fixing large mesh issues (particles, holes, spikes and tunnels)
  • Smart re-topologize tools: re-triangulate, subdivide, and global in-canvas decimation
  • Isolation mode for easy fixing, clean up and reporting of big meshes
  • Editing/interpretation tools: smooth brush, smart brush
