If you want to reduce the responsiveness of object snapping - i.e. enlarge the area, where $!$AutoCAD$!$ applies the osnap mode, increase the value of the $!$$!$APERTURE$!$$!$ variable.$!$ And vice-versa: if you need to increase the sensitivity, decrease this setting. $!$ You can also use the Options dialog, the Drafting tab, the "Aperture size" setting.
