How to make an Inventor assembly component transparent?

A - answer To quickly make a given part transparent - e.g. an outer shell to reveal internal structure - select the given component in the model or in the assembly tree and press the predefined keyboard shortcut Alt+T.

To make the temporarily transparent component opaque again, press again Alt+T.
